OTHM LEVEL 7 DIPLOMA IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The Qualification

Kingsmere College London offers the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Project Management qualification. It is designed to meet the needs of senior managers responsible for projects and provide a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental topics needed to manage business projects within a complex and ever changing environment. This qualification develops a deeper understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of project, programme and portfolio management. It also builds essential skills and competences to plan, monitor, control and deliver successful projects, programmes and portfolios.
Outcome: Build advanced project leadership capability and develop practical competence for managing complex projects, programmes and portfolios.

Who is it for?

The OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Project Management is ideal for graduates and experienced professionals who wish to progress into senior project, programme, or portfolio management roles within complex organisational environments. It is designed for individuals who already hold an undergraduate degree (or equivalent Level 6 qualification). The degree may be in any subject area. While applicants with backgrounds in business studies, economics, events management, or operations research may find the transition particularly natural, those from disciplines such as engineering, IT, environmental sciences, humanities, and languages are equally encouraged to apply. The qualification is also suitable for professionals who may not hold a degree but possess alternative professional qualifications together with at least three years of relevant project or managerial experience. This programme is particularly appropriate for:
  • Senior managers responsible for delivering strategic projects and programmes
  • Project managers seeking to move into more advanced leadership roles
  • Professionals aiming to deepen expertise in project governance, risk, and performance management
  • Individuals preparing for further postgraduate study
